Directions

Step1

In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add the meat to the pot and brown on all sides.

Pour in the chicken broth and add bay leaves, oregano, cumin, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Add the hominy to the pot and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
